fabian kis-juhasz
fabian kis-juhasz uses face masks to create a second skin. His aesthetic focuses on the abject and the connections between make-up, gender norms and the body.

I have used bio-degradable face wipes, with only make up to make sure that eventually this can break down. I stitched them together with 100% cotton thread.

But there are aspects of my swatch that are not 100% decomposable, therefore this cannot break down without cutting away certain elements like the acrylic yarn fur.

using face wipes to create a second skin from my DNA. The body here then merges with the outside world and my dna is ripped from my body. the literary trope grotesque, often uses a mask to explore an exaggeration. THis is what i have done in order to achieve a mask that covers the entire body and exaggerates the idea that my skin is just a mask.
